Lantern Festival is celebrated on the 15th day on the first lunar month. On this very day, we can watch many beautiful lanterns displayed everywhere. People in China eat Tang Yuan (small dumpling balls made of glutinous rice flour with sweet filling) to celebrate Lantern Festival. Tang Yuan, also called as Yuan Xiao, symbolized the reunion of the family.
To eat this delicious tang yuan, we can make it by ourselves. If you want the simple and easy way we also can buy the frozen tang yuan in the supermarket. To make it more tasty, add some ginger powder and sugar into the hot water. Enjoy!
